Our client seeks a Statutory and New Business Assistant to join their team. This dual-focused role involves assisting with client onboarding processes, statutory filings, and maintaining compliance with Isle of Man regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Key Responsibilities New Business Support: Assist in collecting and verifying application forms and client due diligence (CDD) documentation. Input client data into the company's systems and ensure records are accurately maintained. Prepare risk assessment documentation for review by the Compliance Department. Liaise with prospective clients to ensure timely submission of required documents. Coordinate with internal teams (Compliance, Statutory, and Administration) to facilitate smooth onboarding processes. Generate reports summarising client risk profiles and onboarding statuses. Maintain an organised record of all client onboarding activities. Statutory Support: Prepare and file statutory forms and documents with the Isle of Man Companies Registry in a timely manner. Maintain corporate records and registers, ensuring they are updated and compliant with legislation. Support the Statutory Department with audits, annual returns, and routine filings. Respond to client enquiries regarding statutory requirements and filings. Assist with the incorporation of new entities and amendments to existing company structures. Key Skills & Experience. Previous experience in a corporate services provider or financial services role is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy in processing documentation and data entry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Isle of Man statutory and compliance obligations is preferred but not essential. A qualification or working towards a qualification in a relevant field (e.g., ICSA, STEP, or AML/CFT) is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate management software (e.g., Viewpoint, Laserfiche, or similar platforms).
