Manx Development Corporation are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and motivated administrator to join their fast paced team and provide administrative support to the office and it's Directors. The right candidate will be proactive, a master of multitasking and an excellent communicator. This role would suit someone with an interest in development and sustainable construction but more importantly someone willing to work collaboratively to produce excellent outcomes. This is a Full Time position, but flexible working can be considered.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Grade B in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
Minimum 2 years previous secretarial or administration experience.
Experience in a construction or maintenance environment desirable but not essential.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Excellent grammar and spelling.
Ability to operate general office machines.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Excellent customer service manner.
Expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
Ability to set up and maintain an accurate filing system.
Attention to detail and able to follow tasks through to completion.
Ability to organise and set priorities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, stakeholders and the public.

CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE:
Experience with Website Content Management Systems.
Experience with Common Data Environments.
Graphic Design Skills.
Experience with Marketing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the phones and greet visitors.
Sort, scan and distribute mail.
Monitor company email accounts and reply to general enquiries.
Coordinate diaries and organise meetings.
Assist in preparing reports and presentations.
Assist in preparing tenders, orders and appointments.
Maintain and update company policies.
Attend meetings to take and produce minutes.
Maintain accurate and organised company records.
Organise and maintain the company SharePoint and physical filing systems.
Maintain confidential database of all staff, consultants and subcontractors in line with the companies GDPR policy.
Monitor and prepare social media posts.
Manage and update the company website.
Arrange for maintenance and repairs as needed for office equipment; including maintaining an inventory of office supplies and order as needed.
Process, track and record invoice payments on multiple projects with assistance of company accountant.
Maintain HR records and assist with recruitment.
Collate and present data.
Research, as required by the Managing Director.
Arrange company events.
Performs a variety of related duties as assigned.
