Supervision Officer

Our client seeks a Supervision Officer to join their Portfolio Supervision team. You will assist in undertaking effective and efficient supervision of regulated entities, ensuring that they meet the requirements for supervision, AML/CFT legislation and guidance. Key Responsibilities: Undertake appropriate preparation in advance of, and assist in conducting, inspections and general business meetings. Attend supervisory inspections and business meetings as appropriate, compiling detailed notes/minutes as appropriate. Deal with enquiries (including complaints) in a courteous and constructive manner and ensure logged and reported to the Manager as appropriate. Ensure all notifications received from entities are logged, risk rated and reported to the Manager in a timely manner. Assist in the review and contribute to proposed new and changes in existing policies and legislation. Provide administrative support in the maintenance of internal systems and procedures. Key Skills & Experience: Educated to GCSE level or above and/or equivalent qualification. Experience of working within an office environment and/or as part of a team. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills, including accuracy, attention to detail and record keeping and filing. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience of working in the financial services industry would be beneficial. Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times. A willingness to undertake relevant training or qualifications as and when required would be desirable. Ability to provide administrative support as needed.
