The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees daily operations in restaurants, bars, and other dining venues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, efficiency, and team performance. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities include: Supervise and coordinate activities of F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and support team, ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by delivering excellent service standards. Assist in scheduling and training of team members. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, presentation, and sanitation of all F&B areas. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Support inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation. Assist in opening and closing duties, cash handling, and reporting. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow. Provide feedback and support performance evaluations.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the F&B or hospitality industry. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Proficient in POS systems and basic computer skills.
Preferred Skills: Hospitality or Culinary certification is a plus. Multilingual ability is an advantage. Previous experience in luxury or high-volume establishments.
