We are looking for a passionate, reliable and creative chef to join our small team at Vibe - the islands only fully plant based restaurant. You'll be working under our incredibly talented, skilled and highly organised plant based, head chef Kyle Shimmin who runs a calm, creative and inspiring kitchen. We are looking for someone to be a strong number two, whether part-time or full-time, who can be both consistent, driven and innovative. This role is hands on and is a varied role that includes prep and service for brunch, lunch, dinner and weekly specials. We make everything from scratch with a focus on using fresh, high-quality ingredients with as much locally sourced & foraged ingredients, and our food is as nutritious as it is instagramable. We are looking for someone who has strong kitchen experience and consistency. Loves creating bold, health focused, great looking food to a high standard. Can confidently prep and plate a wide variety of dishes. Thrives in a creative and collaborative environment. Can work efficiently in a small open plan kitchen. Plant Based experience is a bonus, but not essential - just bring your curiosity, passion, cooking skills & a willingness to learn our techniques and secrets.r
