Legal Personal Assistant Overview: Our client, a leading Isle of Man Law Firm, is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Personal Assistant. The ideal candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the legal team, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This role requires a highly organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior legal staff, including preparing and filing legal documents, managing diaries, and organising meetings. Draft and proofread legal correspondence and documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Manage and maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring efficient retrieval and safekeeping of files. Coordinate client meetings, including arranging appointments, booking venues, and ensuring the preparation of all necessary documents. Assist with legal research as required, supporting the team with case preparation and client matters. Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Prepare billing and invoicing reports, including timesheets and client billing information. Assist in organising court filings, hearings, and other legal proceedings. Monitor deadlines and assist in managing case progress, ensuring that all relevant parties are kept updated. Manage general office duties, such as answering telephones, responding to queries, and handling correspondence. Requirements: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a legal environment. Strong understanding of legal terminology and legal document formatting. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software .Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality .A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: Legal Secretary qualification or equivalent experience. Experience with case management and legal billing software.
