We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Hospitality Operations Manager to join our team and take a key role in the day-to-day operations of our hotel/pub. This is a dynamic and hands-on position that requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and coaching a team to deliver outstanding customer service. This includes creating and implementing effective staff rotas, ensuring smooth team operations, and providing ongoing feedback and support to enhance performance.

Overseeing the seamless running of the venue, you will ensure efficient food and drink service, exceptional customer care, and the successful execution of events. Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards will be a priority, as well as promptly addressing any operational issues that arise.

You will contribute to marketing initiatives designed to attract new customers and drive revenue. This includes assisting in the creation of engaging social media content and promotional materials, as well as analyzing customer feedback and business data to identify areas for improvement.

Financial awareness is essential, as you will monitor costs, identify opportunities to enhance profitability, and ensure adherence to budget guidelines. You will also assist with stock control and inventory management to optimize efficiency.

Additional responsibilities include attending regular team meetings and training sessions, liaising with suppliers and external partners, and maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Responsible Person (Isle of Man) or willing to undertake the necessary training. Previous experience in a hospitality role, ideally within a pub or restaurant setting, is essential. Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities and a passion for customer service are key to success in this role. You must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach.
