About Our Pubs:

We are looking for experienced managers to oversee vibrant food and drink venues across the Island. With several opportunities available, now is the perfect time to join the Okell's family and be part of a team dedicated to exceptional customer experiences.

Your Role:

As a Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and profitability through community engagement and building lasting relationships with customers. You will demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and a proven ability to deliver top-quality service, food, and drink through your team.

Key Responsibilities:

People management will be a core aspect of the role, including employee induction, scheduling, payroll, recruitment, performance reviews, and handling employee relations. Compliance oversight will be essential, ensuring adherence to environmental health, trading standards, licensing, and health and safety regulations. Business development responsibilities include sales planning, marketing initiatives, offer enhancements, budgeting, and strategic planning. Operational management will involve overseeing income, expenses, wet stock ordering, cellar operations, and site audits to ensure smooth and profitable operations.

Skills and Experience:

Successful candidates will have operational expertise in hospitality venue management, licensing, EHO compliance, business development, cash handling, and team leadership. Proficiency with systems such as Aztec EPOS, Kaizen Payroll, SharePoint, Flow Hospitality, and MS Outlook is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be an energetic leader, an excellent communicator, highly organized, and driven to succeed.

Qualifications:

Required certifications include a UK Licensing Certificate, Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene, Health & Safety at Work Level 2, and a Hospitality NVQ (or equivalent).
