Projects Engineer (JRN-32505)

POSITION: Projects Engineer (JRN-32505). We are seeking a Projects Engineer with a background in bulk materials handling to oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires technical expertise, project management skills and international collaboration. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest standards. International travel will be required to liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage and oversee engineering projects from planning to execution. Develop project scopes, schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals. Coordinate with engineering, production and sales teams to ensure project feasibility and efficiency. Liaise with clients, suppliers and stakeholders internationally to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, risks and performance, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies. Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation and status updates. Conduct site visits and oversee project installations, commissioning and troubleshooting. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS - Experience in project engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and project management. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office. Project Management Professional (PMP) qualified. Excellent problem-solving, organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proven experience in bulk materials handling projects. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field. Willingness and ability to travel internationally for project-related activities. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - Experience in the mining, heavy machinery or manufacturing industry.
