Our client seeks a qualified and experienced Head of People to join their team. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy in alignment with corporate goals. This role ensures the effective management of human resources across the business, driving policy development, performance management, compliance, and crisis resolution while fostering a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement overarching HR strategies that align with the organisations corporate goals. Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, advising on HR best practices to drive business success. Ensure HR initiatives contribute to long-term business growth and employee engagement. Establish and maintain uniform HR policies across all business units. Ensure policies comply with legal regulations and industry best practices. Monitor and update policies in response to evolving employment laws and organisational needs. Oversee the design and implementation of performance management frameworks. Drive a high-performance culture through effective goal-setting, continuous feedback, and professional development initiatives. Collaborate with senior leaders to align performance management with business objectives. Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. Identify cost-effective solutions to enhance HR operations and employee engagement. Monitor HR spending and report on key financial metrics. Lead the response to HR-related crises, including employee relations issues, restructuring, and organisational changes. Mentor and develop HR team members to enhance their capabilities and career growth. Key Skills & Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred. Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a multi-business group environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Financial acumen to manage HR budgets effectively. Track record of successfully implementing HR strategies that drive business performance. Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals. Strong leadership and people management skills. Expertise in HR policy development and legal compliance. Proven experience in crisis and change management.
