Head of IoT and Wholesale VAS services

Our client seeks a Head of IoT and Wholesale VAS services to join their team. Role Profile: This role involves defining and evolving the company's strategy, products, implementation, and delivery while driving sales and customer management to support growth aspirations. The ideal candidate should be well versed in managing and developing an IoT and VAS business and have strong experience in sales and customer relationship management. You will ensure that targets are achieved within agreed budgets, contributing to the organisation's overall success. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the IoT and VAS function to achieve consistent high performance through focused people plans involving performance and talent acquisition & management, succession planning, development and coaching. Add value to the business by leveraging investments to deliver products and services. You will work with relevant stakeholders to develop 5-year plans, AOP and forecasts for your portfolio. Lead and manage IoT and VAS service function to ensure that all matters relating to the provision, performance, fault and problem management, and billing queries for those customers are best in class. You will conduct in-depth reviews of the IoT and VAS product portfolio from a customer, financial, and market viewpoint to meet objectives and the overall business strategy. Develop and maintain strong functional relationships operating across the business to jointly own and shape both the current plans and future strategies. Ensure that the best possible customer experience is delivered and improved against all products. You will chair the IoT and VAS trading meeting - reporting on performance, highlighting risks and opportunities in a timely and accurate manner. You will be expected to attend business reviews and monthly operating reviews from time to time You will be expected to complete monthly 121s, appraisals and salary reviews for any direct reports Understand and comply with the licence and other regulatory rules, as well as the Data Protection Law applying to the position. Key Skills & Experience: Proven track record in managing and developing an IoT and VAS business Good understanding of IT & Telecommunications technologies & the IoT and VAS market place. Experience in the production and scheduling of product, commercial and financial plans. Effective customer relationship management experience. A firm understanding of telecoms licensing, security and regulatory compliance. Ability to lead, motivate and manage people. Self-motivated, well organised and effective at communicating. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in co-operation & collaboration with others to achieve organisational objectives.
