Nestled in the picturesque town of Ramsey, the Ramsey Park Hotel is a charming and renowned destination offering exceptional service to our guests. We are now looking for a dedicated Duty Manager to join our dynamic team and ensure the continued success of the hotel.
Role Overview:
As Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and staff. You will be responsible for managing the hotel's operational activities in the absence of senior management, providing leadership, and maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that the Ramsey Park Hotel is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including reception, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Manage and supervise hotel staff, providing guidance, support, and training as required to ensure exceptional service standards.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times, maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Assist with staff scheduling and management of resources to ensure adequate coverage across all departments.
Monitor guest feedback and contribute to continuous improvements in service quality.
Assist in the implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
Liaise with suppliers and other service providers to maintain smooth hotel operations.
Take responsibility for the hotel in the absence of senior management, including handling financial transactions, security procedures, and general operational oversight.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in managing staff and ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest complaints or operational challenges with diplomacy.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
Knowledge of hotel management software and systems is advantageous.
