A Compliance Administrator is required to join a busy and professional team. This role supports the Head of Compliance in ensuring the business adheres to all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, helping to maintain a strong framework of internal controls and best practice across the organisation.
In this position, you will handle staff queries, providing guidance and recommendations as needed. You will review KYC and CDD documentation for individuals and entities associated with client structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. You will conduct screening checks and internet research, address deficiencies in documentation, and complete client risk assessments and PEP screenings, including enhanced due diligence when necessary. The role also involves assisting with the drafting of internal processes and procedures, supporting monitoring activities, and contributing to new business screening.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five GCSEs including English and mathematics. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. A strong working knowledge of offshore trust and corporate structures, coupled with solid analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, is important. Effective time management and the ability to prioritise tasks are essential. An interest in ongoing professional development is expected, and it would be advantageous if you are already working towards an ICA accreditation.
