A bit about the role: Day to day - you'll be making coffee, taking customers' orders at the tills, serving food, clearing tables, prepping food, talking with customers and other cafe duties.
As a small family-run garden centre we want our customers to be served with a smile so that they walk away happy and excited about their next visit. You will be working with your team to maintain cleanliness across the cafe; most importantly, having a nice time - this is your time to socialise, work hard and meet great people. A positive outlook, good attitude, and bags of personality are required - the communication skills to strike up a good conversation with our customers daily.
What we can offer: Sociable 9.00am till 4.30pm daily working hours (no late evening work). Discount on food and drinks. 23 days paid holiday, 20% discount across the Garden Centre and free staff parking.
Requirements:
Hours: 30-40 hours - 5 days work with 2 days off (Saturday or Sunday work day will be required).
Ability to be on your feet 9.00am till 4.30pm.
Great communication and customer service skills essential.
Work with a close team in a busy cafe environment.
Good work ethic.
Smart appearance.
Working with and reporting to the Cafe Manager.
