Finance Director

Our international gaming client looks for a Finance Director to join their business with a particular focus on automation and connect systems globally to make for a more efficient timely process. Key Responsibilities: Monthly reporting to directors; Month end and year end process (financial statements, reconciliations);Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls; Oversee the posting of and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable; Verify commissions payable to service providers; Manage client accounts payables and receivables; Tax reporting; High level of accuracy and attention to detail; Using financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios; Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health; Monitoring spending and creating budgets; Preparing company reports for investors; Finding ways to reduce costs and increase profits; Collaborating with management to create funding strategies; Overseeing a company's payroll and bookkeeping system. Key Skills and Experience: Experience supervising, mentoring and coaching junior team-members; Experience with tax compliance and substance requirements; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Masters degree preferred; Casino and/or Sportsbook operator experience helpful; Proven experience of automation and connecting systems to improve efficiencies Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS; Experience in managing year-end audit processes; Familiarity with financial accounting statements; Fluency in English - both written and spoken; Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA). The role would initially be remote (working from home in the IOM) but the client is considering securing office space.
