Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join their team. Responsible for the HR strategy, this role will report directly to the Finance manager to ensure appropriate resources are in place for the delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading HR in a diverse organisation and have the ability to communicate and work collaboratively across the business. Key Responsibilities, provide a quality service to customers Benchmark where applicable to understand the broader HR landscape and provide strategic advice accordingly (i.e. equality legislation)Achieve strategic objectives effectively within specified timescales Ensure health, safety and wellbeing is a priority Establish, implement and maintain the HR Strategy Establish, monitor and evaluate rolling succession management programme. Maintaining an effective employee relations culture utilising a partnership approach to resolution with recognised trade unions Provide insight and leadership on development and delivery of change programmes To effectively chair local works committees and progress identified issues To act in negotiation of pay settlements within Board cost parameters minimising and resolving any dispute situations. To develop discrete terms and conditions arrangements for all employees Manage the delivery of an accurate and effective payroll function Responsibility for HR compliance in regard of corporate governance Lead the recruitment, retention and development quality employees Key Skills & Experience Awareness of, and compliance with, relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and Industry standards Degree qualification or equivalent Experience of, and compliance with, IOM, UK and European employment law Chartered CIPD qualified Experience of dispute resolution, including mediation, conciliation and arbitration within a unionised environment Experience of mentoring, coaching and counselling within a diverse organisation Experience of working at a senior strategic level within a diverse organisation in both public and private sectors Leadership and management across a wide spectrum of strategic responsibilities Collaborative working and knowledge sharing Previous leadership training Experience dealing with complex discipline and grievance issues Strong inter-personal, influencing and internal marketing skills Able to work under pressure & resilient Energetic and positive
