The Deputy Manager (DM) will assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Ramsey Park Hotel, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and staff management. This individual will play a key leadership role in hotel management, operations, and service delivery, ensuring the hotels goals are met while maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Assist the General Manager in overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, front desk, and maintenance. Ensure all departments are working efficiently and cohesively to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Team Management & Development: Supervise, motivate, and train department heads and staff. Foster a positive work environment by promoting team collaboration and personal development. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure staff members are meeting performance standards.
Guest Experience: Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming environment, responding promptly to guest concerns, and ensuring the hotel meets or exceeds guest expectations. Oversee guest feedback systems and address issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Financial Management: Collaborate with the General Manager to develop, monitor, and manage budgets. Analyze financial reports and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality. Help optimize revenue through strategic planning and operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning: Work with the General Manager in setting long-term goals and objectives for the hotel. Contribute to the development of marketing and sales strategies aimed at increasing bookings and enhancing the hotels reputation.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, labor laws, and the companys policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to maintain the hotels standards in cleanliness, maintenance, and service delivery.
Crisis Management: Be prepared to manage emergency situations or unexpected challenges, providing quick and effective solutions. Maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager, sales and marketing teams, HR, and all other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination across all hotel operations.
