Our client seeks a Sustainability Analyst to join their team. The purpose of this role is to help design and shape the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy and deliver support for the execution of tangible ESG progress. The role will coordinate analysis, reporting, ESG regulatory returns, and steering group meetings as well as collaborate with key stakeholders from across the business as well as third-party agencies. The day-to-day role has great variety and will take ownership for the delivery of underlying initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for annual and quarterly ESG data reporting, and quarterly meeting updates advising them of progress made. Organising and attending volunteering events with partner charities, as part of the ESG Staff Volunteering initiative. Communicating with employees through monthly staff updates to keep the workforce engaged around ESG work, Reviewing the reporting to ensure it is in line with evolving ESG regulation. Lead monthly ESG Committee meetings. Work on carbon footprint data collection process, striving to find ways to improve data quality Key Skills & Experience. A minimum of 2 years work experience in Sustainability/ESGFamiliarity with ESG regulations, ESG data collection, reporting frameworks and ESG data platforms. Proficient in data analysis Confident to collaborate with a range of stakeholders (Exec level, Shareholders, External charities, members from various departments) and speak in front of people Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. A proactive approach. Degree in Environmental Science or related field would be advantageous. Certification with CFA Institute or GARP Sustainability or equivalent would be desirable
