Senior Finance Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing and reconciling monthly accruals and prepayments.
Performing complex vendor and balance sheet reconciliations.
Reviewing colleague's vendor and balance sheet reconciliations.
Checking and posting purchase invoices within the accounting system.
Checking and posting journals within the accounting system.
Preparing various monthly cost reports.
Processing payroll.
Reviewing and approving payments on the banking platform.
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
Completion of VAT returns.
Inputting journals and invoices as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Minimum three years' bookkeeping experience.
Book-keeping qualification advantages but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong team player.
A practical understanding of book-keeping principles, techniques and best practices.
Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
