Superintendent Pharmacist

We are looking for an on-site talented and experienced Superintendent Pharmacist (ideally an Independent Prescriber), with a proven track record in leadership, and delivering growth. The ideal candidate will hold an independent prescriber qualification and have experience in delivering clinical services.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team to achieve the company's performance targets and KPIs.

The key responsibilities for this role include leading and managing the daily operations of Karsons Pharmacy to ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service, while maintaining full compliance with GPhC and MHRA regulations. The position involves mentoring a team of pharmacists, and support staff, developing and up skilling colleagues, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and professional growth. The role also focuses on developing strategies to grow the customer base, enhance operational efficiency, and drive revenue, working closely with the executive team to meet sales and performance KPIs with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention. Additionally, the responsibilities include integrating new services and products, optimising existing operations to enhance the customer experience, and monitoring sales performance, customer feedback, and industry trends to remain competitive. Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers, and healthcare professionals is vital, as is driving initiatives to strengthen the pharmacy's digital presence, improve marketing strategies, and optimise the customer journey.

The role requires GPhC registration and Independent Prescriber certification, along with at least six months of prescribing experience and a proven ability to manage and grow pharmacy operations. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, particularly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership and team management abilities, fostering high-performing teams, and possess a comprehensive understanding of UK pharmacy regulations with a commitment to upholding ethical and safety standards. Commercial acumen is also critical, with a focus on achieving targets, meeting KPIs, and delivering exceptional customer service.
