Mooinjer Veggey, the Island’s largest Manx Language charity, is looking to inspire the next generation of young Manx speakers and we need your help!
We’re looking for a self-motivated and energetic individual to be our Project Officer.
Our projects may vary in the future but are currently focussed in two areas:
• Community Engagement - engage with a wide range of people to promote the use of Manx, encourage new volunteers and help coordinate current volunteers, develop new funding streams and help with grass roots fundraising.
• Possan Cloie (Parent/Carer and Tot groups) - support and develop our three groups, look for opportunities to establish new groups, develop links with other preschool groups and generally support and encourage new families to use Manx.
Funded by Manx Lottery Trust this a part time role of 24 hours a week, however we are also interested in hearing from people who may just want to take on either the element of the post 12 hours a week.
