Our client seeks an Internal Audit Accountant to join their team. Role profile, The Internal Audit Accountant will work within the team responsible for responding to requests for information from internal and external auditors of client companies. You will assist with any work required and co-ordinate with internal and external auditors. You will also support the Senior Manager, ensuring that internal controls are effective, risks are managed and operations are conducted within regulation. Key Responsibilities, liaise with auditors to understand audit requirements and identify how any information can be obtained. Provide regular briefings to auditors and respond to general information requests. Contribute to weekly progress reports. Help to develop a detailed audit plan, including an estimate of time taken to complete individual work packages. Assist in establishing milestones and deadlines for regular progress reports. Support the implementation of new IT systems. Liaise with the Internal Audit Senior Manager to ensure that the audit plan is progressing as expected. Train and supervise junior staff Key Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent research and analytical skills. High levels of integrity. A keen eye for detail. Ability to work in a team
