Our client require a Finance Assistant, this is a 14 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave starting on the 01 December 2024. This role plays an essential part in preparing financial reports, gathering crucial data and maintaining records across multiple entities.
You will ned to be working towards or hold an accountancy qualification (eg CAT, Bookkeeper, Part Qualified Accountant), good understanding of basic accountancy principles such as double entry bookkeeping and preparation of trial balances, previous experience within a finance role, with familiarity with Navision, or similar accounting software, a sharp eye for detail and good organisational skills.
