Choosing a new family home is an important decision and we would hate for you to rush it! If you are moving to the Isle of Man, one option is to try a shorter term let while you settle in and get to know the Island. There are a number of different residential areas, offering varying amenities and community feel; so it’s a good idea to explore what best suits you and your loved ones.
Many of the Island’s Estate Agent offer property letting services, and will be very happy to help you in your search. This contract can run from anywhere from one month to a year, and tend to require a month’s deposit and references. Many of these lets can be let furnished or unfurnished.
If you’re looking for ultimate flexibility and fancy testing out a new area before committing to a long term let or purchase; a flat share, rental of self-catering accommodation might be the right choice for you. Some of the Island’s holiday homes, which are fully furnished and equipped, are able to be rented as longer term residences (subject to Isle of Man Planning legislation permission), and mean you benefit from some of the Island’s most stunning locations during your first few months as a resident.
