Feel Connected to the future at Sure by joining the Legal and Regulatory team as a Commercial In-house Lawyer in either Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man working 37.5 hours per week.
Sure are looking for candidates who would like to feel connected to future technologies and change, global opportunities, personal development, and working in a great team. Passionate about their people and communities, the ideal individual would hold the following skills:
Qualified lawyer in any of the United Kingdom, Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man (or another jurisdiction of near equivalent basis, e.g., Ireland, other EU);
A minimum of 6 years' post qualification experience (PQE);
Excellent drafting skills;
Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts;
Ability to effectively prioritise and manage expectations associated with the wide scope and scale of competing and diverse requirements of the Sure businesses and departments;
Commercially focused and willing and able to work alone and progress projects with business and commercial input;
To drive the role forward, the individual will focus on commercial and strategic legal and regulatory matters across the Sure group businesses within the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man and the South Atlantic (Falkland Islands, Ascension Island and St Helena) and Diego Garcia within a telecoms and technology driven environment.
