Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects. Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiations. Monitor project costs and variations, ensuring budget control throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct site visits to assess progress, valuations, and compliance with contract terms. Prepare and review contractual documentation, including JCT and NEC contracts. Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Provide risk analysis and value engineering solutions to enhance project profitability. Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with project teams to support decision-making and problem-solving. Key Requirements 5+ years proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management. Previous experience in handing capital projects. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
