Multi-Skilled Tradesperson - Refurbishment Project

Project Overview:r
We are seeking a multi-skilled tradesperson to join a professional team for a pub refurbishment project. The project scope includes refurbished flooring, new decorations and lighting installation, furniture installation, and a bar servery upgrade. You will be joining a highly skilled group of tradespeople with extensive experience in painting and decorating, electrical engineering, and carpentry and joinery, ensuring that the project is delivered to the highest standard. Candidates with a proven track record in multi-trade roles and a broad skill set are encouraged to apply.r

Key Details:r
The project is set to run from Monday 10th March to Wednesday 26th March. The working hours are 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, six days a week. The project location and base rate of pay will be confirmed in due course.r

Key Responsibilities:r
The successful candidate will perform refurbishment tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrics, decorating, and joinery. Responsibilities will include installing and upgrading the bar servery and cellar services, preparing and refurbishing flooring, walls, and ceilings with high-quality finishes, assisting with electrical and lighting installations, and working on bespoke furniture and fixture installations. All tasks must be executed with precision and a commitment to quality craftsmanship while collaborating with skilled tradespeople and project managers. It is essential to ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.r

Required Skills & Experience:r
Applicants must have proven experience in multi-trade roles, including plumbing, electrics, decorating, and joinery. Cellar services installation experience is essential. A strong understanding of building regulations and health and safety standards is required. Candidates should have experience in painting and decorating to a professional standard, with extensive knowledge of surface preparation, paint systems, and finishing techniques.r

A background in electrical engineering, including wiring and lighting installations, is important, as is experience in carpentry and joinery, covering bespoke furniture making, timber work, and installation of doors, bar counters, and custom fittings. The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, as well as strong problem-solving skills, are essential for success in this role. Excellent attention to detail, precision, and quality control are also required, along with the effective use of power tools and hand tools.r

Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Additional certifications or experience in advanced craft, electrical, or joinery qualifications will be highly advantageous. Experience working on pub refurbishments or hospitality sector projects will be prioritized.r
