Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative

Pacesetter are looking for an energetic delivery driver/ warehouse operative to receive and dispatch merchandise to and from our warehouse.

Day-to-day tasks include unloading outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles, selecting products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area and load merchandise.

You will unload stock from delivery vehicles, and transport to and store in designated warehouse positions and deliver complete orders to island-wide sites.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading delivery vehicles, accepting delivery of inventory, counting and confirming inventory, inspecting inventory for damage and faults, communicating errors to relevant parties, marking and labelling stock, storing inventory in an accessible manner, loading and wrapping stock on pallets.

Part of the role involves being office/shop floor based (with appropriate training), where the successful candidate will deal with customers in person & over the phone dealing with general enquiries, show customers the range of products available, take down accurate details to book in measuring appointments, prepare all sales documentation, invoices & deposits, supplier orders, customer orders.

Applicant must have a full driving licence. Previous relevant experience is preferable but not required. Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance and good timekeeping.
