Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Accounting Technician (CAT/AAT) or an individual qualified by experience to manage a portfolio of local accounting and tax clients, including sole traders and established medium-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of accounting clients.
Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met.
Prepare and file tax returns.
Prepare and file VAT returns.
Attend client meetings.
Meet and greet clients and answer the phone.
Liaise with clients to obtain source data and clarify accounting queries.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Confident, personable, and well-presented.
Highly computer literate.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Experience with one or more accounting systems.
Experience with VAT.
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
