Our client seeks a Reconciliation Analyst to join their team. You will ensure accurate financial reconciliation, effective risk management, and compliance with regulations by reviewing financial data, creating audit reports, and advising on operational improvements while maintaining stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities: Perform and manage the reconciliation cycle, including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. Determine internal control scope and develop annual plans. Obtain, analyse, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc. Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the process. Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement. Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost-saving opportunities. Maintain open communication with the team and other stakeholders. Document, process, and prepare audit findings memorandum. Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions. Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards. Key Skills & Experience: 0-2 years of experience as an auditor, reconciliation agent, or in a similar role. SQL skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports. High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Sound independent judgment. Experience working with PSPs or in the payments industry.
