Our client seeks a Bookkeeper to join their team. You will be responsible for carrying out general accounting functions including preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, maintaining balance sheet schedules/ledgers, processing year-end accounting adjustments and preparing VAT returns. Key Responsibilities. Complete general ledger operations. Monthly closings and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts. Prepare journal entries. Assist with the production of monthly financial reports and analysis as requested. Prepare tax computations and VAT returns for review. Account/bank reconciliations. Build relationships with clients. Preparation of management accounts. Assist with year-end closings for clients. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential Key Skills & Experience. A bookkeeping qualification or a suitable experience in bookkeeping to a trial balance level is a must. Previous experience of general accounting tasks and preparation of management accounts would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Scheduling and monitoring experience. Problem analysis and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Confidentiality
