Labourer

Own transport not essential but desirable.

As our assistant/labourer, you will work closely with experienced professional tradesmen and to support various tasks involved in the Bathroom fitting process. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with manual labour, ensuring the availability of materials and tools, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual Labour:
Assist in carrying out tasks such as supporting, lifting, and other physical activities.
Operate hand tools and power tools under the guidance of experienced tradesmen.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Material Handling:
Receive, organise, and distribute construction materials to appropriate work areas.
Maintain an organised inventory of tools and materials.
Assist in loading and unloading construction materials and equipment.
Site Preparation:
Help prepare construction sites by cleaning and clearing debris.
Set up and dismantle temporary structures as needed.
Support the preparation of the work area.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Report any malfunctioning tools or equipment to supervisors.
Keep the workspace clean and organised.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project goals.
Communicate effectively with customers and follow instructions from supervisors.
Assist in co-ordinating tasks with other trade professionals.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Identify and report potential safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus.
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour its essential.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
