Our client seeks a Qualified Accountant to join their team. Role Profile: Playing a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights. Your expertise will contribute to the financial health and growth of clients Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders. Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits. Verify financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies. Prepare and file corporate and individual tax returns. Advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their financial position. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations. Create financial forecasts and projections. Assist in budgeting and variance analysis. Key Skills & Experience Essential skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Organisational and time management skills. Be versatile and adaptable Desirable:3 to 5 years in a similar role; Knowledge and qualifications: ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)Proficiency in accounting software.
