Shape your Future in Manx Care: Careers Uncovered Event

Building on 2024's Success: Manx Care Careers Event Day Returns and Expands for 2025

Following the success of Locate Isle of Man and Manx Care’s inaugural Young Professional Open Day in 2024, the event is back for 2025. Taking place on Saturday 12th April, welcomes both on and off the Island who are looking to start or progress their careers in healthcare. Whether you’re a sixth form student exploring different healthcare career pathways, considering a career change, or planning to relocate to the Isle of Man, this event has something for everyone.

The event provides a unique opportunity to tour Manx Care’s facilities and gain a first-hand understanding of what a career in the Isle of Man’s healthcare sector looks like. Attendees will deepen their knowledge of Manx Care’s strategic and operational goals and interact directly with department heads from across Manx Care. Participants will also gain valuable insights into the qualifications required for various roles, the day-to-day responsibilities they entail, and the key differences between working in Manx Care and England’s NHS.

A Q&A session with a panel of senior Manx Care representatives will ensure all your questions are answered. Additionally, the Isle of Man Government’s Office of Human Resources will be on hand to offer guidance on the next steps for those interested in pursuing a career on the Island, as well as to answer any recruitment-related queries.

To round off the day, Locate Isle of Man will transport all attendees to an exclusive social event, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed setting.
