Web Designer

Key Responsibilities:
As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align
with client requirements and branding guidelines. This includes creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
to visualise website concepts, and working closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation. You will
also focus on enhancing user experience (UX) and accessibility, optimising designs for mobile responsiveness,
and staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies. Maintenance and iterative improvements
for existing websites will also form part of your role.

Skills:
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma is essential,
along with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of user interface (UI) design
principles, typography, and colour theory is vital. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
and experience in designing for responsive and mobile-first platforms are required. Excellent communication
skills, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are crucial. Additional knowledge
of web animations, SEO basics, and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap is advantageous.

Experience Required:
Applicants should have a degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field, along with a minimum of
2 years of professional experience in web design or a similar role. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety
of website designs and creative projects is essential. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams,
including developers and marketers, is highly desirable.
