Our client seeks a Conveyancing Administrator to join their team. Role Profile: The role of a Conveyancer Administrator is to assist in the property transaction process under the guidance of experienced conveyancers. This position involves conducting property searches, preparing legal documents, and facilitating communication between clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders. Conveyancing Administrators gain hands-on experience in property law, learning to manage transactions from start to finish while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. They play a crucial role in providing excellent client service, all while developing their skills and knowledge for future advancement in the field. The role comes with the opportunity to train as a Conveyancer. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior conveyancers and wider department in handling property transactions from instruction through to completion. Assisting fee earners in the smooth running of cases by drafting relevant documents throughout the process. To learn the Conveyancing Protocol using Company Best Practice. Conduct property searches and inquiries to gather necessary information for transactions and reporting to the fee earner. Prepare and review legal documentation, including contracts, transfer documents, and leases. Communicate with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes. Prepare quotations. Compliance with office policies and procedures and the use of standard systems and templates. Compliance with all lender policies and requirements with regards mortgages. Maintain accurate records and files for all transactions. Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations. To proactively pick up the phone to clients and be their professional advisor. Attend training sessions and participate in professional development opportunities. Review and link incoming correspondence to the relevant client files. Key Skills and Experience: 2+ years office administration experience in a customer facing position, ideally in a legal firm or Conveyancing support role. GCSE English and Maths grade C or above. Experienced using Microsoft Office Applications, mainly Excel and Word. A keen interest in property law and conveyancing with familiarity with property transactions and basic legal terminology. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
