Position Purpose:
The Diversified Portfolio Manager manages a strategy in accordance with its respective investment mandate and guidelines to maximize long-term performance of the portfolio.

Primary Accountabilities:
Manages a strategy in accordance with its respective investment mandate and guidelines to maximize long-term performance. Works with the Investment Analysts, Sector Portfolio Managers, Regional Portfolio Managers and other Diversified Portfolio Managers to develop sound investment ideas and recommendations as well as to communicate ideas to the investment organization of which the employer will be a branch. Build the reputation of the portfolio by maintaining the integrity of the strategy against its mandate, working with the distribution channels and presenting the portfolio strategy, performance and positioning to existing and prospective clients. Works continental US hours; travels to US; public-facing role for press and investors. Provides mentoring and skill development for these analyst and trading positions. Chief Investment Officer experience required. Chartered (CFA) required. Extensive experience and demonstrated excellence in managing money in equities and fixed income market. Must be expert in derivatives, bank loans, investment-grade credit, treasuries, US equity markets, and multiple vehicles (mutual funds, exchange-trades funds, ITMs, sub advised, SICAVs, CITs, separate accounts, and OEICs) Evidence of developing talent and mentoring analyst and portfolio managers across Investments. Will need to work a flexible pattern to take account of business hours in key markets and USA in particular; regular overseas travel will be a feature of the role. CIO experience required.
