This is critical executive position. As the Chief Legal Officer ("CLO"), the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects related to our B2B eGaming operations. The candidate will manage a team and provide senior-level guidance on a wide range of issues, from international regulatory compliance and corporate governance to contractual obligations with our global partners.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with business goals in the eGaming sector
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with gaming regulations across multiple jurisdictions, staying updated on international legal developments in eGaming.
Contract Negotiation: Oversee high-stakes contract negotiations with vendors, clients and partners within the B2B eGaming space.
Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal team to uphold compliance and ethical standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance business initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 15 years in a senior legal role, ideally with a focus in eGaming, technology, or regulated industries.
Languages: Proficiency in Georgian, Russian and English is required, as the role involves engagement across multiple markets.
Bar Admission: Active membership in at least one U.S bar association is required, with admission to an additional bar (In the U.S or internationally) strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex legal issues
Proven track record of effective leadership in a regulatory-driven environment
Ability to navigate cross-border regulations and communicate legal concepts to a diverse team.
