Mechanical Estimator

Prospero Facilities Services is seeking a skilled and detail orientated Mechanical Estimator to join our team on the Isle of Man. This role will focus on providing accurate and competitive quotes for a variety of mechanical works, including HVAC and plumbing systems, primarily for commercial clients. The Mechanical Estimator will also be responsible for project assessments, client interaction - responding to client queries and requests for quotations, providing technical expertise, market research and documentation/reporting.
Knowledge and Skills - Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator, ideally within the HVAC or facilities services sector with knowledge of estimating for commercial projects. A strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing systems and mechanical plant equipment with the ability to interpret servicing reports to develop cost effective solutions. Excellent analytical skills are essential to assess project requirements, perform cost analysis and to generate accurate and detailed quotations. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring alignment and shared understanding across estimates and project goals. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple quotations and deadlines, ensuring prompt response times and high accuracy. Familiarity with estimation software and standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) is essential; knowledge of CAD software would be beneficial but not essential. Knowledge of the Isle of Man's building regulations and standards.

Qualifications - Mechanical or HVAC certification or degree in a relevant field.
Relevant Industry certifications or memberships.
