CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist working as part of a team within a manufacturing cell to manufacture aircraft landing gear components to aerospace tolerances and standards.
Required to undertake all the tasks in the cell to manufacture a component from various materials including titanium and aluminium alloys. This includes:
Setting and operating Turning machines, Experience of operating grinding or honing machines or willing to train, Checking and verifying own work.
Qualifications/ Desired Characteristics:
Experience in:
Operating and setting CNC lathes, Operating and setting Grinding / Honing Machines Experience with either Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma or Mori Seiki controls Programming skills desirable but not essential The use of CMM equipment & manual measuring equipment Use of tool measuring/ setting equipment Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principals.
Role Requirement:
Ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering targets.
Willing to work overtime when necessary.
Tenacious can-do attitude.
Team player.
Willing to work shifts if required.
